ShellShock Records 3 is proud to announce the latest single off Shelly Lare's highly anticipated second album from her own independent recording label. The song, "Dulce Amor", is an upbeat danceable cumbia, and features 2-time Grammy Award winner Ruben Ramos. Previously recorded by Gloria Estefan, the song was written by Kike Santander for her "Abriendo Puertas" album in 1995. Shelly adds the extra Tejano flavor that gets the heart pumping and makes you want to dance. "Dulce Amor" was produced by Shelly along with Rick Fuentes of the Mexican Revolution. The collaboration has been in the works for years and finally realized when the song was chosen for the new album.

"I've been waiting to record a song with Ruben for a long time," says Lares. The song fit his musical style of the brass sound and cumbia combination, so he was my number one choice to record this duet with." The single is available to purchase on itunes, amazon, Google play and Rhapsody.

TTMA has posted the performance times of the artists that will be performing live. Highlights for the 4 day event are Los Garcia scheduled to perform Thursday March 14 at 9:15 pm on San Saba St. South La Quinta Stage. Also performing that Thursday will be Eddie Gonzalez at 9:15 pm on the Mariachi Stage (center of Plaza).

Friday's Highlights are  Tejano Sound band, Jorge Moreno, Ruby Palacios, Liberty Band, Ricardo Castillon, AJ Castillo, Joey Martinez (up and coming band to be on the look out for), Mike G y Los Realz, along with many upcoming coming bands.

The debut CD is self titled "Savannah".  The CD will be available Feb.14^th 2013. Savannah is a fresh, new 24 year old talent that one of her “claim to fame” was qualifying at the Texas auditions for the National TV Show, American Idol.  Savannah will be performing during the Tejano fan fair March 14-17th in San Antonio, she will be performing at 7:30 pm Saturday March 16^th. Savannah is also scheduled to perform along with The Kumbia Kings on April 27th during Fiesta Week at the Tejano Explosion and a performance at the Tejano Convention in Las Vegas the  weekend of Aug 2-3, 2013.

Monico Cortez, Jr. (MC2), was born and raised in Houston, TX to a family of musicians,  and began his love of music from the day he was born. As a young boy, he would attend band rehearsals at his grandmother’s house, where his father and grandfather would serve as future idols for young Monico who couldn’t wait to have his chance on stage! At the early age of 9, he began his musical career by learning to play keyboards for his father’s band, “Los Hermanos Cortez”. “Try Me” by La Mafia was the first song he learned. At age 12, Monico took to the mic, and began by singing the famous, “Don’t mess with my Toot-Toot”, by Rocking Sidney. Over the years, Monico continued to sing and play eyboards with his father’s band, until rightfully earning his spot alongside his father, in 1993, as the band’s Second Vocalist. Now, 20 years later, Monico has ventured on his own to explore a new style and sound, and follow his dream in Music. He has just released his Solo Debut Album “Moving On” under Cortez Records, in which he collaborates the traditional Tejano sounds along with some new arrangements and talent. Featured on his newly released album are Grammy award winner, Chente Barrera, Jaime De Anda (Los Chamacos), JR Ramos, and from Chicago Illinois, Adriana Guzman. Monico is a strong supporter and believer in Tejano Music, and will continue to contribute his talent for many years to come.

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Texas Talent Musicians Association (TTMA) presents the     Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair 2013. Set for March 14-17, 2013, thousands of Tejano Music Fans from across the country will travel to Historic Market Square in Downtown San Antonio for the Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair 2013.

The four-day event will showcase over 125 bands from across the U.S.A to include Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Michigan, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Utah and Illinois. The TMA Fan Fair draws over 90,000 die-hard fans each year. The Fan Fair offers an up close and personal atmosphere with live music on five stages featuring emerging acts to top veteran performers.

The family oriented event offers plenty of traditional food, beverage and vendor booths and Tejano Music merchandise. Fans will get exclusive access to their favorite artists participating in the special autograph sessions scheduled during the four days of Fan Fair.

The Tejano Music Award continues to shine each year by producing one of the largest Tejano Music events in the country.
